      We are celebrating the legendary 1942 film PRIDE
        OF THE YANKEES rated the best baseball film of all time -
        which starred Gary Cooper, Teresa Wright, and Babe Ruth as
        himself. It's the Great American Story! Gary Cooper plays the
        New York Yankee first baseman Lou Gehrig. The Crowd Worshipped
        Him... One Woman Understood Him! The film is an intimate and
        thrilling drama of a hero of the headlines... the girl who had
        his love and shared his life, but dared not question his one
        secret.

      The presentation of "THE PRIDE OF THE YANKEES" is presented
        to commemorate the 10th
        Anniversary of the Greater New York Chapter of Amyotrophic
        lateral sclerosis (ALS) organization. ALS is a fatal
        neurological disease, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease
        -- named after the great New York Yankee first baseman that
        died of it in 1941.
